Often Photography by Verdi gets asked the question if we would travel to another state or even out of the country to photograph a wedding. The answer is an excited yes! Some people might question why a bride would go to such lengths and the expense of hiring a photographer from out of state. Well, our answer is simple. Photographers vary in photo style from region to region, as well as, the fact that a bride might be seeking a reputation of a certain studio.
Photography by Verdi's wedding prices are given on an individual basis and will depend on the destination, naturally, and the amount of photographers needed to cover such event, any assistants that may be required, length of stay needed and package purchased. We have put together a list of questions that Photography by Verdi often gets asked regarding travel, but feel free to email us with any further questions you may have.

When can I expect the photographer to arrive?
On destination weddings, to avoid missing a wedding, we make it our policy to arrive at least three days prior to the event. This allows us the opportunity to attend the rehearsal dinner and maybe even capture an on-location engagement shoot. Should our flight be cancelled, this gives us the opportunity to make alternate arrangements. -
Should I worry about the photographer's equipment getting lost or delayed on
the flight?
All necessary equipment is kept with us at all times, meaning any cameras, lighting equipment, film, digital cards, computers, etc. and packed in specially designed camera cases. We only pack equipment that could easily be replaced at the wedding destination, should a loss occur.
